My passport is turned in! Katie's passport is turned in!! Wooohoo! We are OFFICIALLY finished with the So Cal Shop Hop. We each got at least 15 pics in front of the various stores so we are also entered to win the Tinkering Ink gift basket. I can't wait to hear who won!
So now that Shop Hop is over, I am prepping for my next few classes. I am halfway done. I have nost of my Shop Hop loot put away. I am also considering better organizing my embellies because the drawers I have them are getting a little messy. I've done some rearranging with my stamps and punches so I'm just moving down the line!!
Also, for those of you who are signed up for Embellie-grams--they are coming!! I just got way side-tracked with Shop Hop and Girl Scouts starting up again so I kind of put it off. I WILL get it up and the items sent out to you by the end of the month for sure.
Today I cleaned my kitchen from top to bottom (even the very top of the fridge) and it was nice to get done. I also am washing what seems to be a VOLCANO of laundry in my garage that is blocking me from parking my car in there. Once I get my house clean, I'll be ready to relax.
I feel really ready to scrap. I can't wait to crop this weekend! All this organizing and cleaning is making me feel inspired--I work so much better in a clean house! And I can just stay home, off the freeway, and just relax with some chips and salsa and a nice, big diet coke.....I can't wait for the weekend!

La Quinta here I come!!!
I am going to be teaching at Desert Scrappers Retreats on September 29, 2007!! I am so excited!! We are going to make a Holidays circle album--here's a sneak peek:

You won't want to miss this as circle shaped books are a big thing in scrapping this Fall!
Plus I'll be doing a "playful" two page layout using felt and other accents. This is going to be so much fun! Plus I want to get a peek at the retreat and hopefully be able to actually ATTEND next time around. For more information or to sign up for this reatreat (they are running an AWESOME special), visit: http://www.DesertScrappers.samsbiz.com
I hope to see you there!

Pretty Fair!
I still have not gone to the LA County Fair but I have heard that a few of my entires for the Scrapbooking Contest won ribbons! Woohoo! I entered 10 items and 5 placed so that is pretty fair! Gilbert from Scrappin' Good Times took pictures of the entries when he and Trish went to the Fair last week otherwise I would still not be sure which of my projects placed and which did not. Thanks Gilby!
Here are my entries that placed:
Hopefully I'll make it over to see it all in person--but how cool is that?! I will definitely enter again next year.I only entered items I already had made so it wasn't much work at all. All I had to do was put pictures in some of my albums (something I needed to do anyways). It was fun so count me in for next year!
