You know you need to organize when....

... you can't see the bottom of your computer monitor anymore! LOL Since I've been teaching classes alot more and little Matthew joined us, and well, things have been getting behind.

<--------- THIS is my "to do" pile. Yeah. I knew there was a problem when I could not see the bottom 1" of my computer monitor. Hmmm.

First I have to organize my scraproom. Things just get shuffled all around, thrown in, and next thing you know, chaos. The kids and I have spent the morning scraping all kinds of stickers and goo off this "desk" that used to be in Katie's room. It did not sell in the yard sale we had last month. Looking at it in the garage, it dawned on me it would be perfect for my printers to sit on. It has bins inside that I can store bags of scraps and other projects in. So we moved it in to the room today. Now I have the kids sorting primas by color, the last little bit I have left to organize. I'm trying to clear off the table and sort through this pile on my desk. The funny part is the kids really enjoy sitting at the table sorting my stuff and being silly. My nephew actually ASKS me every time he comes over whether or not I have bought any new chipboard alphas I need sorted. He loves to sit and sort them by letter into these little drawers I have. Crazy.

It's gonna be so nice to have my room ready for TG! I can't wait. The "to do" pile though may just have to sit a *little* longer---just until after I actually do a little "me" scrapping--not for classes, not for add-ons, just for my books! Can't wait!

Thank you!!

Last night there was a knock at my front door--no one comes over here without calling unless they are Trick-or-treaters. So it was pretty odd. I open the door and this guy is standing there with this big bouquet of flowers--for me? Yes, for me! Right away Xaver says, "Who are those from?". Hehe

Wonderful Maryam from the Cancer Coping Center sent them to me with a note of heartfelt thanks for my help at their Nov 11th Scrapbook Royalty fundraising event. How nice! Plus Maryam got the inside info that it was my birthday today--we share the same birthday as does Sandy at SGT too! Scorpios need to stick together!

How nice, I got flowers as a thanks, practically on my bday, and now I have a nice bouquet for the table at Thanksgiving--love it! So thank you so much Maryam! It is so often that charitable work goes unpaid and unrecognized. I feel so very appreciative that you have recognized for the little that I do to contribute to Cancer Coping Center through Scrapbook Royalty. Thanks so much--it feels great to help such a great organization.

P.S. Thanks everyone who sent well wishes to me today, especially Mel and E for singing Happy Birthday! LOL You're making me feel old! Also, thanks Sandy for the wonderful Thanksgiving card you sent to my family--love it!
