As you may have guessed...

I did not make the Daisy D's DT--but no biggie. The people who did make it are super amazing so it feels pretty good to have "been in the running" next to those talented souls!! But just so I can "pretend", here's a little LO I did with Matthew using Daisy D's:

"Stash Diet"

The "diet" is this:

1. No new purchases until XX number of pages are completed (large altered projects count as 1 layout). I'll be trying to complete 30 pages.

2. Cardstock and adhesive may be purchased as ACTUALLY needed. Seeing as how I have a mountain of Tombo and cardstock, hopefully I can stave off any urges to purchase...

Since I go into so many stores, I do alot of "since I walked into this store I have to buy something" purchases. No more. The next few stores (uggh, there is a grand opening sale this weekend!!) I can't buy anything. And this is a good thing since Xaver asked me not to spend on scrappy stuff until after Christmas...don't know if that means I am getting a gift cert or if I am finally getting on his nerves...

Anyways, please join me and these other bloggers in going on this "diet". This totally coincides with a new challenge I posted on sb.com about "Finishing Off" all those half used packs of stickers and embellies. I'm ready to get my scrapbook "stash" in shape!

A New Store!!!

How exciting!! In the midst of like 5 stores closing here in So Cal in recent months (Sb Unlimited, Table Scrapz, Among Friends, A Little Bazaar, a store in Orange that I can't remember the name of...) a new store is opening, this month!!!

The Scrapping Table is opening in Placentia at the previous location of Table Scrapz with many of the same Design Team members and staff. I've met the new owner and she is super nice, very motivated, and ready to give us scrappers what we want--awesome product at great prices! The "soft" opening is this Saturday December 15th at 10am. I hear there are some awesome new products that will be on the shelves! Plus go to their website to get info about a coupon!!!

The Grand Opening will be sometime in January. I'm going to try to make it over there on Saturday to check it out and post an update. I'm so excited--finally a NEW store! If you see me there, please stop me and say "hello"!!
