After Midnight...

And I'm still up! LOL I think I am getting a cold. Darn.

So it snowed today!! Melted at our house but it sure means we really need to take Katie to the snow...she has been bugging us non stop!!

Just dropped off my "Our Little Critter" and "Our Little Cuddlebug" samples at the Scrapping Lounge today--they are pretty cute if I do say so myself! LOL So make sure you stop in to check them out and sign up. You can make on or the other or both at the same time (two class fees if you want both). The class is March 1--hope to see you there.

I also went by the Scrappin' Table and dropped off the sample for my "Winter In a Day' class there, scheduled for Feb 24. After some thinking we decided to push back the Book Club to start in March to allow more people time to sign up. It's going to be great!! You get ALOT of product for your money too!

The yard sale went well--we raised $35 for Scrapbook Royalty!!!! Thanks to everyone who came as well!! I really appreciate it! I've been packing up all the leftovers to take to the fire victims...whew!!

Okay, off to bed... I'm leaving you with an LO I did recently...

It's Girl Scout Cookie Time Again!!!

It's Girl Scout Cookie time again!! Yum!
Katie is now a Junior Girl Scout in her third year as a Girl Scouts!

And she has a goal of selling 1500 boxes this year!

If she makes her goal, she gets to go on a special overnight camping trip filled with fun, games, and learning. Plus she earns extra patches to put on her uniform and a cookie giftcard that she can use to pay for camp, uniforms, and other activities.

She made her goal of 500 boxes last year by selling 1344 boxes!!!! Thanks so much for helping her surpass her goal—she was the top selling Girl Scout of all girls in all of
San Bernardino, Devore, and Highland, and the second highest selling Brownie Girl Scout in all of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties COMBINED! She earned $425 on her cookie card which paid for her to go to summer camp for the first time (which she loved), for her uniform and patches this year, and for some fun items from the Girl Scout Council store.

Please help her meet her goal again this year!!

Our troop's goal is to sell 5000 boxes this year! (Our troop sold just over 4000 boxes last year) Katie's sales will count as part of the troop total so you are not only helping her, but you are helping our troop of 14 girls as well! If we reach our goal we will be able to do the following activities:

  • Our First Ever Group Camping trip in April!!
  • World Thinking Day Event in February
  • End of year trip and awards ceremony
  • Scrapbooks for the girls to remember this year
  • Horseback Riding
  • Pay for materials to make quilts for the homeless shelter at Central City Lutheran Mission
  • Buy books to donate to Santa Claus Inc
  • Buy food for local food banks and soup kitchens such as Mary’s Table as part of our community service efforts
  • Bowling and Roller Skating trips
  • Crafts
  • And more!!

The Lemonades are back and are still super yummy! They are a lemon cookie with icing on the back. We also have a new cookie this year called Cinna-Spins. They come in 100 calorie packs and taste like Teddy Grahams but better. They are pretty yummy!! Katie's favorite cookies are Lemonades, Caramel Delights, and Cinna-Spins.

If you want to support Katie but aren’t in the market for cookies, you can purchase cookies to be donated to a number of organizations on your behalf, such as children’s hospitals, troops overseas, women’s shelters, homeless shelters, and more. 100% of the $4 per box fee is tax deductible in this case and we will give you a receipt for it. Or you can elect to make a flat monetary donation to our troop. This is also tax deductible and I can give you a receipt for it. (If you are not within the San Bernardino area we will be able to take your order after Jan 26th due to Council rules).

The cookies arrive after Feb 23th--you pay for them when you receive them from us. If you would like to order cookies, please let us know by sending Katie an email through me.

Thanks so much for supporting our troop and our little Girl Scout Katie!
