Another Class Added & It's My Birthday!

If you loved the Soccer License Plate Book I taught last year, you'll love my new sports books this year even more! I'll be teaching the class at Collective Journey on June 8, 2008 from 1-4pm. You can choose ANY sport you want. Just go to Sports Chalet and get 2 of their free license plate covers for the sport you want. The Sports Chalet in Redlands already knows you're coming if you want to stop there (Chrsitine from CJ's showed them the book and they are totally psyched about helping us scrappers out!).

Choose from a blue/grey/kraft color scheme (cover pictured):

...or yellow/green/orange color scheme, whatever best fits your sport (a set of interior pages are pictured):

I'll have a set of embellies at the class for you to choose from to customize the book to your sport. I already have stuff for baseball, soccer, basketball, football, and tennis and am working on items from any other sport you want. So if you need something for cricket, I will find it. I'll also be bringing my Quickutz Silhouette electronic diecutting machine if you want to change the title to "Swim Hard" or "Play Ball" or whatever, we can do it!

This is a really awesome book and you will learn alot. Ladies who have taken this class before have replicated the book over and over and given it as gifts and such--so you'll want to take the class to learn all the short cuts--plus you'll get the finished book! Hope to see you there!

Oh yeah, it's my birthday!!! My BLOG BIRTHDAY that is! LOL

I'm giving away a Priority Mail Flat Rate box with TWO past class kits of mine worth over $50 PLUS the rest of the box is FILLED to the brim with brand spanking new fun stuff like punches and more! Just post a comment here with your email addy (or another way to contact you if you don' like posting your email addy in the open). I'll draw ONE name from those comments first thing in the morning on Friday April 25 and you'll receive this box full of goodness (US only please)!! Thanks so much for reading my blog. It is so fun to do and I love to read all the comments!! Here's to another year!! Wooohoo!!

Spring Time Fun!!!

Yesterday I participated in a little Spring Time Fun! I went to a Spring Party hosted by my friend Elena--everyone made gifts to swap with each other--it was a really fun "just the girls" day! I made some cute little people for some new friends and old friends as part of the gift swap. I used Maya Road keychain people (thanks for the idea Elena!) and decorated each one according to my idea of that person's style and their fave colors. Everyone brought me a small pic to put as the head--it was really fun! My favorite one is of Lead Fiskateer Cheryl Waters (above)--I just love how it turned out!!

Here are all the "people" and their people:

I made one more for a friend who could not make it (Anita--we missed you!). I forgot to take a pic of that one! I used the Teresa Collins crown print paper (which I won from a Desert Scrappers blog drawing!) and it was all pink and black and fun! I still have to make one for myself too.

I had a great time, had great food, and fun conversation. I had to get home to the kids and get Katie over to Girl Scouts so I could not stay as long as I would have liked. I hope we do it again--this group is all artsy, talented, and super nice ladies and I love all the fun thoughtful gifts they made for each of us!

The day ended on a bad note though as I was rear-ended by a teenager on the 215 coming home for Girl Scouts later that night. But Katie, Matt, and I are all okay (we are going to the Dr this afternoon to get checked out anyway) and I have that special "you'll wanna curl up and die if you hit me" insurance coverage so I am sure all will be fine. Guess when you drive as much as I do it is bound to happen!
