Good Stuff!
First off, I am proud to share that I am now a Polka Dot for Polka Dot Whimsy, Michelle Hill's awesome kit club!!! Woohoo!!
Second, Scrapbook Royalty is doing a raffle to benefit the Young Survival Coalition in Duluth, MN. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month so all month SBR is helping at events all over the US to benefit this worthy cause. Anyone can buy raffle tickets and if you win, the items will be shipped to you. I am buying tickets to win this:

And there are 4 more other super awesome raffle prizes available!! The drawing is on Saturday and you don't have to be present to win. For more info, check out the SBR blog.
Third, I will be at Scrapbook Expo this Friday and Saturday doing TWO make n takes with Scrapbook Royalty. One is a cute luggage tag and the other is a really fun and festive Card for the Troops. All you have to do is make a donation to make these cards!! We are also launching our new "Go Green" contest--you'll have to come to Expo to see what it is all about. Hope to see you there.
And I also now have a gallery up at the Zutter Zisters website. Be sure to check out my latest projects in the gallery. There are some great Christmas gift ideas there too!! And also check out the other Zutter Zisters' galleries-TONS of inspiration to be had! Here is one of my projects -- a desktop calendar:
That's all for now. Off to Target for the second time to see if I can get some milk--they have it on special, 2 gallons for $6! I am so happy the new Super Target by my house just opened--LOVE it!

The Scrappin' Table
We'll create 20 pages during 6 hours of scrapping, snacks, and fun! We'll provide snacks all day (feel free to bring in your favorite dish to share if you'd like). We'll do the first ten pages, then take a little a break, and then start the next 10 pages. I am kicking it all off at The Scrappin' Table in Placentia, CA. Anne, on the Table's design team, will be there to help as well so you will be in very capable hands between us both!
This time though, the class is bigger, badder, and better than ever so your pages will be wayyyy wayyy wayyy cooler than this one!
We also have a special guest coming!!! Tricia from Canon (yeah, the picture people!) is going to be bringing Canon's latest and greatest photo printers for us to play with during the class!! Bring in your camera's memory card with your favorite photos loaded onto it and we will play with all of the wonderful features of these new Canon printers. They can print postcards (think Christmas!), calendars, small pics, 4x6 and more, all of which you will get to keep if you print them in the class. And get this--the paper is totally waterproof and fingerprint proof. Halloween is the night before so bring in your camera and we'll get those pics scrapped before you can say "Trick-or-Treat"!
In addition, I'll be showing you how to use Bazzill's new Lickety Slip albums to get even more pics into one album. The Scrappin' Table will be offering a special on these albums available only to class attendees the day of the class. Michelle, the owner, has hinted to me that it will be a particularly "sweet" deal you won't want to miss.
I'll be doing a drawing in the class to win one of my past page kits. It is packed with goodies to make 12 pages and you can win it for free!! Just attend the class to get a raffle ticket. You'll also get one ticket for bringing in your camera's memory card, one ticket for bringing in a snack, one ticket for every Lickety Slip album or refill pack you buy during the class, and one ticket for every $10 you spend that day in the store.
At the end of the class you'll have a great album ready to give for Christmas before the mad rush of holiday shopping even starts! How cool is that?!

I Survived Survivor Crop!!
But then Elena said Scrapbook Royalty was going to Survivor Crop this year-WHAT?! So OF COURSE I had to go again!
I am STILL recovering but I have to say this year was pretty good--our group is what makes it the best because we get and give TONS of gifts and everyone in our crew is just a ball of laughs. We had so many people we had to get TWO islands!
After sleeping almost all of yesterday after driving 2.5 hours home (took an hour longer since I was driving at granny speed cuz I was tired) and sleeping all of last night I am ALMOST recovered. And I told Elena she can't ask me to do it again until at least 2012. I can't take the lack of sleep and I even took a little nap! The thing is, you stay up because you don't want to miss anything. The real mayhem happens in the wee hours of the morning and that is when you'll gte the best pics and video to hold over your friends' heads! LOL With that said, there are a few pics and videos that will not be appearing on my blog becuase they are just not PG -- hehe. I finally tried Chambord too. You can put two and two together!
The day started aout at Ever After for breakfast and a make n take. Then we drove over to the event location in stages -- each group was allowed to go a few people at a time. I didn't take my camera out until later so here are some of the highlights:
Elena and Jesse -- always fun and the life of the party these two!! Check out the fun flipflips one of the committe members made for each of us!!
A local TV news crew came to shoot some video of the event so we turned up the music to get everyone to dance. Next thing you know, our table starts a dance train and everyone joins in going around the entire warehouse! It was pretty fun, ending with a limbo pole we made from "bangers" that came in our welcome kit.
Our tables teamed up together to complete a Halloween Challenge. We had to use "Halloween Leopard" Paper -- no easy task!! We each made one square to go on this banner. I did the "O":
Sir Mix Alot + A Roomful of Sleepy Women + A Whole Lotta Stuffin' =
I'll post pics of all our loot later. The ladies who were atour tables are naturally generous, being that we all volunteer our time and donate money to Scrapbook Roylaty and the causes it supports on a regular basis for the last few years. So you can imagine the fun gifts we made a traded with one another!! I made a sign in book for each person that we decorated and then each put our photo and a little messgae in for each person. That was alot of Zuttering! I can't wait to take pics of the big box of funness I brough home!!
Love all the SBR crew and committee!! The ladies got together and PAID for me to have a massage!! I so needed it too. It just makes me realize what a great group of friends I have and how much of a privelege it is to be a part of SBR. Anyone can be a part of it too - just email us to volunteer and you will make life long friends besides just feeling great about giving to charity.
You can see more pics on Elena's blog. Like the one of me trying to catch up on our little year books I made for everyone!! I made these little sign in books (with the Bind It All of course) for each of the TWENTY people at our tables with 20 pages in each for people to pass around and have the other attendees sign. Well, I left to help teach one of Ever After's make n takes and then I had a massage and I came back to a pile!! At first i was just going to the back of each book and making my page but then they started looking familiar so I flipped through the front of the books to see if I had already done some....and I HAD!!! Melanie and Elena kept putting books I had already done BACK in my "to do" pile!! Weiners.
I also learned alot about breast cancer as well. And I made some new friends like Audrey and chatted with some old friends around the room. Gotta run to pick up Katie from school now...Chat with you all later!

Time for Prizes!!!!!
The winner of the assortment of kits and samples is:
Congratulations!!! Your goodies will be shipping out tomorrow AM.
Thank you to everyone who purchased raffle tickets!! Together we raised $281 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation!! Scrapbook Royalty, including the donations from these raffles, raised just under $3000 between our two "islands" and the Survivor Crop event as a whole raised over $50,000!! WOW!!
I'm still recovering from Survivor Crop so I'll be posting pics of the events and such tomorrow. See you then!
